In 1992, he completed a Research Fellowship in Perinatal Research at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. He was involved in research focused on the causes of preterm labor and premature rupture of membranes. He also received an additional training in Obstetrical Ultrasound at Wayne State University. It is in Detroit where he eventually met his future wife, Tess. They both relocated in upstate New York where he completed a four-year Ob/Gyn residency at the University of Rochester. He became American Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2000. By far his best accomplishment was to become a father to two beautiful girls, Francesca and Alessandra in 2000 and 2002 respectively.He moved to Phoenix in 1998 after completing his residency where he joined Lincoln Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has been working with the same practice until Feb 2011. At that time, the entire group moved their medical practice to Banner Thunderbird Hospital. The medical practice was renamed Thunderbird Obstetrics and Gynecology.
He performs and reads his own ultrasound examination in all his patients including first trimester, second trimester Ob screening, 3D and 4D ultrasound and gynecological ultrasound.
During all these years in private practice, he delivered more than 3000 babies.
